TRACK CHIC/TSUNAMI RACING TEAM UP TO LAUNCH
WOMEN’S CAREER ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM ON THE “ROAD TO INDY”

Atlanta, GA – March 8, 2010
In celebration of the 2010 International Women’s Day, Track Chic announces
the launch of an unprecedented career advancement program for women in the male dominated world of motorsports.
Track Chic®, the only online/offline social club for motorsports’ 240 million female fans worldwide, is teaming up with Tsunami Racing to build and grow a unique Women’s Career Development Program in the Indy Racing League (IRL) “Road to Indy” program.
Track Chic/Tsunami Racing will be a comprehensive “institution” for the advancement of women in motorsports, including drivers, engineers, mechanics, marketers and business managers to fulfill the future needs of racing and establish viable career paths for women.   The Track Chic/Tsunami Racing program will include all tiers in the “Road to Indy” ladder system, from Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda to the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear to Firestone Indy Lights, and finally, the IZOD IndyCar Series.
Track Chic/Tsunami Racing principals include: Theresa Earnheart, founder and president Track Chic; Steve Tsuruda, founder and co-owner Tsunami Racing;  and Steve Sudler, co-owner Tsunami Racing and co-owner Team 3G. The team employs unique activation programs designed to foster growth, enhance brand image and deliver significant market penetration. Track Chic/Tsunami Racing will also establish a scholarship program to provide opportunities for drivers and team members who have the talent, but not the means to participate.
“This is an exciting time for women in motorsports, and the Track Chic/Tsunami Racing program exemplifies both the spirit and goals of International Women’s Day by opening new doors for women in a sport traditionally dominated by men” says Theresa Earnheart.

“The development program is an important extension of Track Chic’s mission to give voice to motorsports’ female fans and showcase the talented women involved behind the wheels and behind the scenes in the industry today” Earnheart continues.  “Steve Sudler and Steve Tsuruda bring years of experience and are respected experts in motorsports marketing, sponsorship activation and race team management. Their support and enthusiasm for Track Chic’s women’s initiative and the “Road to Indy” career development program are contagious.  By aligning our two companies, Track Chic/Tsunami Racing provides a turnkey program designed to provide viable career choices for women, develop talent, and grow the next generation of motorsport professionals. The “Road to Indy” program is an exciting first step for us; we will develop similar women’s programs for other racing series as we grow.”
“One of the key attributes of the IZOD IndyCar Series is the diverse makeup of our field of drivers, which will feature four women on the grid at our season opener in Sao Paulo, Brazil” adds Terry Angstadt, president of the commercial division for the Indy Racing League.  “Our goal with the Road to Indy program is to foster young racing talent in this country and to help define a career path through the open wheel racing ladder system for all men and women that aspire to race in the IZOD IndyCar Series.”
Track Chic/Tsunami Racing plan to officially launch the new program during the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Streets of St. Petersburg Festival Weekend, March 26-28, 2010. IZOD Indy Series and Firestone Indy Lights women to watch this season include Danica Patrick, Sarah Fisher, Milka Duno, Simona de Silvestro, Pippa Mann, Carmen Jorda, Ana Beatriz and others.
About Track Chic:
Track Chic is the only on-track/off-track social club for the 240 million enthusiastic female motorsports fans worldwide who share their passion for speed, style and sisterhood. Created by women for women, Track Chic successfully combines the passion of motorsports with the Divine Secret that best-selling author Rebecca Wells and women today call “Ya-Ya-Sisterhood”.
In a sport traditionally marketed to men, Track Chic successfully fills a void by bringing together and giving voice to the millions of neglected female fans across the globe. Track Chic represents the “hidden” power of women in numbers and is the first to unite advertisers’ two most highly coveted demographics: brand loyal female motorsports enthusiasts and decision making females. The company offers multiple activation channels to extend the fans’ experience – and sponsors’ message – beyond the track crossing over from motorsports to women’s lifestyle to effectively influence women’s $7 trillion in consumer spending.
Track Chic is forging strong relationships with racing circuits and the nation’s premiere track owners and has established itself as “The Voice” promoting women in racing and the sport’s female fans. Together with the American Kart Racing Association, Track Chic also spearheads a National Merit Badge Award program for the US Girl Scouts titled “Girls-N-Gears”.

About Tsunami Racing:
Tsunami Racing is a next generation motorsports business. The team plans to have entrants in all levels of the newly formed “Road to Indy” ladder system announced late in 2009.

Tsunami Racing plans to enter a full time entrant into the IZOD IndyCar Series, with a second entry as a strong possibility. The team will be a pioneer in the Indy Racing League, as it will be the first team to have entrants in all four series of the Indy Racing League.

The team will build its program so that not only do drivers have the opportunity to advance to each series through scholarships and other funding opportunities but they plan on also grooming engineers, mechanics and the business side of racing in marketing and media sales, client activation and hospitality.

It's not racing… its providing racing and building value… that's the business of racing.
About The Road to Indy
The Road to Indy is the Indy Racing League’s official developmental ladder system for drivers who wish to reach the IZOD IndyCarSeries and the Indianapolis 500. Made up of Firestone Indy Lights, the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear and the Cooper Tires presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda, the system was designed to create a defined career path for young, career-minded race car drivers and to teach them the skills needed to advance to the highest level of open-wheel racing on and off the track.
